Support disadvantaged women by helping them become Suited For Work

Monday, January 05, 2009

Suited For Work is an incorporated, not for profit association run by volunteers which gives the opportunity for women to help other women build self esteem and gain independence. Clothing can become a tool to help rebuild self esteem and allow these women to take a small step in getting their lives back on track.

Suited For Work’s mission is to support women experiencing difficulties in achieving self-sufficiency and advice for women who may be seeking to re-enter the workforce after a period of unemployment, women who may need to dress formally for a range of other situations such as appearance in court, attending a funeral, returning to the community after a period of imprisonment or any other circumstances when access to our service would make a difference.

Suited For Work also provides support in terms of building confidence for a job interview, resume writing assistance or simply a friendly, supportive environment for women who may just need a little extra help to move forward.

Visit the website to become involved by becoming a volunteer, donating money, donating clothes or by becoming a sponsor.
