Nominations now open for the Veuve Clicquot Awards - do you know an inspirational Australian businesswoman?

Tuesday, May 31, 2011

Nominations are now open for the Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award 2012 so if you know an Australian businesswoman who demonstrates leadership, daring, creativity and responsibility in her business life - it's time to nominate! The award recognises the extraordinary achievements of entrepreneurial business women; innovators, risk takers, leaders and visionaries, with a commitment to corporate social responsibility.

The Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award was established in France in 1972 as a tribute to Madame Clicquot. The award champions the success of women worldwide in the field of business, and honours women who reflect the values of Madame Clicquot: her spirit of enterprise, her courage, her tenacity in driving projects to successful outcomes. It recognizes women whose determination is equalled by their creativity and who have played a key role in the enduring success of their companies. In recent years, the Award has emphasized corporate social responsibility and those who take initiatives in this direction. Today, it is held in 16 countries around the globe, a reflection of the international spirit of Veuve Clicquot. It is now one of the most heavily anticipated events amongst businesswomen and the global business community.

The successful winner will be announced at the legendary Veuve Clicquot Business Woman Award lunch on 8 March 2012 and will join an esteemed guild of past winners that includes Sara-Jane Clarke, Heidi Middleton, Mandy Foley-Quin, Elizabeth Ann Macgregor, Sarina Bratton and Wendy Erhart. She will receive a silver trophy and a business-class trip to France to join the Veuve Clicquot 2012 International Forum. A vine will be christened in her honour and each year thereafter she will receive a bottle of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame to celebrate in style. And just as importantly - the nominator of the winner will also receive a jeroboam of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut.
