Last chance to apply for a new job for a great cause. UNIFEM is recruiting for three challenging and guaranteed rewarding roles

Tuesday, June 08, 2010

UNIFEM does a huge amount of powerful and often desperately needed work for women across the world. I got an email from Geraldine Chin Moody, one of the tireless board members for UNIFEM about three jobs they’re advertising. All of which sound challenging, rewarding and a lot of fun. If I weren’t so busy, my hand would be waving in the air with my resume to get involved. The applications close on the 10th of June, so make sure you apply today if you’re interested.

All of the positions are full time, based in Canberra (or Sydney for exceptional candidates) and commence in July.

The Policy and Research Officer role is a 6-month maternity leave contract and includes working on their Gender Equality Online website to encourage discussion and debate about gender issues, and wider advocacy, policy and research work.

The Partnerships and Donor Relations Officer role is a 6-12 month contract. This role has a very exciting expansive scope to it, not only will you be coordinating sponsor/donor relationships, you’ll also be developing the National Partnership Strategy for corporate funding.

The International Women’s Day Coordinator is a 12 month contract. This role focuses on both supporting the major events and expanding the smaller events, as well coordinating the overarching fundraising and Marketing/PR work required for what is sure to be a fantastic day.
