AGSM announces new Women in Leadership course to resolve dearth of women at the top

Thursday, June 09, 2011

The Australian School of Business has just launched a new AGSM Executive Education Program for Women in Leadership.  The program aims to give women the skills and confidence they need to advance through the corporate ranks, and features a lineup of guest speakers including Jillian Broadbent AO (NED), Ann Sherry AO (EO of Carnival Australia), Sally Macdonald (CEO Oroton Group), Ralph Norris (CEO of Commonwealth Bank) and Michael Ulmer (Deputy Group CEO of NAB).

As an alumni of the AGSM, I can also attest to the quality of the academic staff and the connections you'll make with other students (a big drawcard for me in doing my MBA there).  So if you're looking for some development options for your team members - or even for yourself - this program is certainly worth a look.
